RESEARCH STRUCTURE
  • Sample is built to give national representation.

  • Consumers are categorised according to life stage.

  • Key tracking questions appear in each cycle.

  • Each cycle examines in depth a consumption opportunity (e.g. breakfast) across every occasion (see schematic below).

  • Examination is undertaken of different outlet types that are in the frame for each occasion.

  • An assessment of the role of meal components in each occasion is made, the presence/nature of which influences the decision.

  • The role of take away, home delivery, vending and Home Meal Replacement are examined.

  • The role of organics, vegetarianism and Fair Trade are also explored.
